Spring vibes, terrain park brotherhood and smoky bar-b-que is coming to the slopes of Wild Mountain on Saturday, April 12. We’ve teamed up with Red Bull to host a sunny big air comp for midwestern rippers.

The competition is open to ages 14 and older with divisions for both men and women, and ski and snowboard. And, we are throwing down a chest of pirate booty totaling $4000 in cash. We’ll split it evening between divisions to keep the Aloha vibes rollin’.

We'll have two immaculate kickers on Main Stage for ya to throw your biggest tricks – with rope tow access too. And, we’ll be creating an island setting with greenery, palms and a water feature for splashy fun. Zinc oxide, straw hats and coconut bikinis encouraged!

The price is just $10 if you plan to ride (includes ticket). Spectators are free. (just walk up the hill) The food and drink are compliments of Wild Mountain and Red Bull. The mountain will be closed except for Main Stage, so registration is the only thing needed to participate (no season passes or day ticket required if you register for the contest.)

Wanna ride but not compete in the event? No problem. We plan to have a small jib park for people to hike during the event. Then, the entire park will be open to the public (including the rope tow) until 5pm. The price of that ticket is just $5! (there's no age restriction on people who aren't riding in the contest)

Key Detail: Jumps will be roughly 30 and 20 feet.

• 11am: Number pickup / Practice begins
• 11:45am: Practice ends
• 12:00pm – Competitor Meeting
• 12:15pm – 12:45pm: Ski Qualifier
• 1:00pm – 1:30pm: Snowboard Qualifier
• 1:45pm-2:15pm: Ski Finals – 3 runs per competitor, best trick counts
• 2:30pm – 3:00pm: Snowboard Finals - 3 runs per competitor, best trick counts
• 3:15pm: Awards
• 3:30pm - 5pm: Public Jam
